you’re in the other room now
I used to think I had to pick a lane early. But now I believe you just have to wait for the right one to find you.
I had a lot of interest in quantum mechanics for a while in high school, mostly because I liked how uncomfortable it made me. A particle would just exist as a pile of probabilities until you annoyed it into committing to one. Looking back, that probably explains more about me than the physics itself ever did.
I find data in the same suspended state I find in physics. It’s like a system that hasn't collapsed into an answer yet. Untouched data is closer to a hypothesis than a fact. It's holding a hundred plausible stories about the world, and only a handful of them survive contact with rigor. People say tech is not fun but I beg to differ.
Although, I need to stop letting things take up so much of my time. Because that's basically how I move through life, I plan things embarrassingly far in advance. I've already planned out a trip that's 5 months away down to finding the spots we’d be visiting, while they're still deciding if they're free that weekend. It’s weird but you give me the itinerary and I will read it once a day for fun. It’s far better than doom scrolling on the internet I’m telling you.
I will spend money on experiences before I'll spend on furniture. I love watching debates on polarizing issues (gotta hear both sides of the story). I also occasionally read. I talk slowly and laugh loudly, have a color-coded plan for random stuff, and I have strong unreasonable opinions about how a book/movie should end. I’m actually glad I found friends who match my freak on this.
my diary. yeah, take a look but it's a bit messy.
dear diary,
today I've learnt that
